Improve the district-wide business landscape by supporting existing businesses and attracting new business for the purpose of further building and sustaining a vibrant, diverse and healthy U District.


Business Resource Center

The Business Resource Center serves all U District Business Improvement Area businesses and prospective businesses looking to enter the district by connecting them to the best available information and providing direct services to individual businesses.


Economic Development Committee

The U District Partnership’s Economic Development Committee is an advisory committee to the UDP Board and Staff.  The Committee is comprised of leaders from the district who share a vision of an environment where businesses can launch, grow and flourish and who are committed to working with the UDP to make this vision a reality.  Bringing their specialized sector expertise and passion to the committee, these leaders help the UDP support existing businesses and attract new business for the purpose of further building and sustaining a vibrant, diverse and healthy U District.

U District Business Network

The U District Business Network is comprised of business operators in the district coming together to provide a more unified, purposeful and effective University District business community voice and offer an information sharing platform for the University District community.
