StudioLife Offers Classes, Event Rentals, and Drop-in Art Projects on the Ave
U DIstrict residents Kristi Brumbaugh and Brooke Anderson have opened a new creative space called StudioLife on the Ave. Drop in to pot a succulent plant or build a terrarium. StudioLife also sells gifts, decor, succulent arrangements, and indoor plants. They also feature work by artists who will teach classes at StudioLife. The space can be rented for cocktail parties, baby showers or book groups. StudioLife has no kitchen on site for event rentals but Thai restaurant Araya's Place next door will be happy to cater your event. Find a schedule for classes ranging from embroidery to cake decorating and teen camps, on their website studiolifeseattle.com. Open for drop-in studio time and shopping daily noon to 5 pm. 5236 University Way NE, (206) 427-6339.
Neighborhood note: In April, the Rusted Vase Floral Co. opened at 5228 University Way NE and these neighboring businesses have already started referring leads to each other.
