Taste of Xi'an Brings Regional Chinese Cuisine to the U District
This spring the Taste of Xi'an restaurant opened on the the Ave with specialties such as noodles and meat kabobs. Owner Ji Jack had already succeeded with a restaurant in the Xi'an region of China when he decided to bring this cuisine to Seattle.
"We serve house made pulled noodles and we use natural ingredients," explains General Manager Ying Zhou. "We prepare mostly local produce and include some ingredients we import from China."
